South Island : Abel Tasman National Park

Smallest National Park in New Zealand, the Abel Tasman National Park is popular for its “post card” landscapes of goldy beaches and turquoise lagoon interupted by rocky points. The park offers lots of options including kayaking in the different bays and walking the 52kms coastal great walk.

South Island : Golden Bay

Considered as one of the “must” of the far north in the south island, Golden Bay is a place still protected from the crowd, located from Takaka till the incredible Farewell Spit. The area is mostly visited for the Abel Tasman National Park, its cute little town hippie and arty, its lagoons and remote beaches.

Located in the north of the south island, Nelson is part of the Tasman Bay and is a colorful town, renowned to be one of the sunniest spot in the country. The area is famous for its important wine and fruit productions and Nelson has a rich local art community.

Situé dans le nord de l’ile du sud, Nelson fait partie de la Baie de Tasman. Voilà une ville colorée, renommée pour être l’un des endroits les plus ensoleillés du pays. La région est connue pour son importante production de vins et de fruits et Nelson est également une ville riche pour son artisanat local.

South Island : Okarito-Hokitika-Punakaiki-Cape Foulwind

Travelling up north the west coast. Following the road along the Tasman Sea in an area still very wild and where the weather is simply unpredictable. The west coast is famous for its greenstone, especially in Hokitika and Greymouth. Main touristic spot, Punakaiki natural curiosity are the Pancake Rocks.

Remonter vers le nord sur la côte ouest. Suivre la route qui longe le Mer Tasman dans une région encore très sauvage et où le temps est tout simplement imprévisible. La côte ouest est réputée pour sa jade, surtout à Hokitika et Greymouth. Les Pancake Rocks de Punakaiki sont le principal attrait touristique.
